Chris Kirkwood has been a litigator for more than 25 years. He began his career in 1983 working as a trial attorney in New York City. He first worked for two major property and casualty insurers in the defense of serious personal injury and catastrophic property damage claims, ultimately rising to the Senior Trial Attorney designation. There, he successfully handled over 1000 cases, taking many of them to trial. In 1991, Chris went into private practice in Manhattan where he continued to successfully handle significant personal injury matters, representing accident victims in the State and Federal Courts of both New York and New Jersey. Chris continues to practice in the areas of personal injury, insurance and commercial litigation.

Chris is a member of both the New Jersey and New York Bars, and is admitted to practice before the Federal Courts in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the District of New Jersey. He has served as a lecturer for the New York State Trial Lawyers Association in the areas of Trial Advocacy and as a Board member of numerous commercial and charitable organizations.

Chris continues to concentrate his practice in Personal Injury and Disability Litigation as well as the Defense of Self Insured Entities, Commercial and Insurance Litigation.
